Nhl Catch-All For 2015-16

Recommended Posts

Perry got a decently loud boo when announced at the ASG just now, but nothing next to the deafening roar of disapproval at P. Kane's introduction. There's the face of your league, NHL...

John Scott's cheer was great, only guys with a louder applause were the hometown Preds.

Haha yeah Kane got lit up, but it was funny seeing Scott laughing and having fun while Kane was getting booed. Nice to see Scott get a great reception.

Yeah, I can finally say something nice about Nashville fans, good job.

Just wait till real hockey resumes and they start up with that whole tired "if [insert unremarkable but responsible 2nd liner with marginal offensive skills here] played in [insert any other city with an NHL team here] they'd be a star! We're so underrated!" narrative they've been pushing for the last decade before losing in the first round again. But hey it's everyone else who sucks according to their goal song so what do I know?

Hahaha Gibson isn't even trying and I love it. 2 saves in total

Smart kid. Don't strain yourself.

Now let's hope he stays away from any psychedelics.   ;)

lol Perry sucks (one timer portion of relay).

That's because he was the only one who shot from where he was supposed to.

He stayed at the goal line but others like Tarasenko were about 3 feet from it.

Holy crap Gibson was a sieve out there. In his defense, I thought he went against the toughest of the groups.

I think Kane is annoyed with getting booed so much.

He looked a tad flustered. Way to stay classy, Nashville.

What did he expect? Do you think Perry is going to get any better a reception in Staples next year?

Gibson biting hard one everyone's first move... it's a thing. That was u-g-l-y

And Perry doesn't one-timer, odd guy to put on the goal line.

Larkin... WOW.

Clearly, talk about an ego. I wonder if he considers that it may not simply be a rivalry thing, but also for his off-ice accusations.

Larkin... WOW.

He just needed to cheat off the line a bit like everybody else did.

I feel like Kane would get this reception anywhere but Chicago.

Good for Kaner the all star event wasn't in St. Louis. They have a special chant for him. Founded or unfounded, makes no difference to Blues fans.

Philly greeted him with one as well, iirc.

I think John Scott's shot in the fastest shot comp was faster than Fowler's.

Edit: Scott's top was 95.9, Fowler's 97.1. So not quite.

Scott didn't look that out of place on the hardest shot contest  His shots were harder than Ekblad's.

Come on BM, pull the trigger. Bring John Scott to Anaheim!.

Well, he DID say he wanted to get tougher and John is basically a living legend right now.

Someone has to get the poor guy out of Newfoundland.

2002.

Not sure why Anaheim  would get skipped over but it could have something to do with the proximity of the Convention Center which is a few miles away.

I think the NHL likes the idea of everything being centrally located as far as restaurants, hotels and a facility to hold the Fan fest.

Staples Center with it's L A Live right across the street and the Los Angeles Convention Center also within walking distance, make it an ideal spot for this type of event.

LA Live wasn't built in 2002 and they still go the ASG.

Already sick of the country music... : /

This is gonna be a long circus. Looking forward to the AHL Skills Comp at 5pm to make me like hockey again later.
