I turn around for a couple minutes and a bunch of stuff happens. If one of Bellows, Gauthier, Rubstov falls to us, I'll be over the moon.

I'm a little surprised by this one, I liked Stanley at #30 and beyond, but I guess it's all gambles at this point anyhow.

Woooooow.

This is the 1st I actually hate. Unless there was inside information Stanley was going before their pick, this is a waste of trading up.

Yeah ... too bad USA Hockey insists on putting guys like Ryan Callahan and Brandon Dubinsky on the national teams.

US youth hockey development has improved a great deal.  In five to seven years, this draft trend will be the norm.

so jets already having really big team,

now Laine 6 foot 4,Stanley 6 foot 7,big going giant.

Might set a precedent to have big players again? Who knows

Stars wanting bishop allegedly

That's stupid. With both Niemi and lehtonen the last thing I'd guess is that they're going after another goalie. That's just plain dumb.

Is there a pro sports league in the world where there are more former NHL'ers sons/nephews that are drafted?

I'm surprised anyone is even there.

Was being sarcastic.   :P

Maybe they figured they could trade a pick and Brown for a top 20
