Quite honestly, I am not overly concerned about where the Ducks finish in the Pacific division. As a matter of fact, NOT having home ice might turn out to be a good thing.

Hmm not sure. RC might do a bit better than BB when doing match ups. So home ice could benefit RC.

Kings facing Raanta tonight. Rags saving Lundqvist for a real team.

Lundqvist has been out injured but he's backing up Raanta tonight.

Nice blown icing call by Shandor Alphonso (52).  Kings get hosed.

Nashville, Calgary, Edmonton pick up 2 points, Blues pick up 1... the Kings are already of life support... down 0-2 vs the Rags now, a loss here and they might as well throw in the towel...

Iginla deserved better.

When are they statistically eliminated?

Soon....I think it's safe to put a fork in them.  Looking forward to Sutter's pearls of wisdom.

Not quite yet... they had a 2.43 chance of making the playoffs entering the game (down from 5.0% last night).

They're 9 points behind St. Louis for the last spot with 8 games to play... so roughly any combination of 4 more losses or 4 more wins by St Louis and they're cooked.

Kings record is better than it seems... minus 3 on 3 excellence they're right with Vancouver but with more salary cap issues and a worse prospect pipeline...

Love how the Kings' broadcasters are pointing out that Grabner was frustrated. Nothing positive to point out about their own team so attack an opposing player on the team that won.
