Training Camp 2017!

lmao Doughty another penalty to put his team down 3 v 5, this time just randomly decided to slash someone like it's 1971. Mental case.

Doughty gets two for yapping. About time...

Full 5 on 3 for two minutes and the PP woes continue.

Dough boy takes a ridiculous penalty and gifts Anaheim another 5 on 3. He's such a moron.

Vermette with an empty net and can't score. He's in vintage Vermette form,

A lot of the big names playing for LA tonight and they still can't score. Ducks have done pretty well against Kopitar and Carter considering no Getz/Kesler.

Edit: Actually it's basically the opening night roster for LA, just no Quick in net. Ducks missing a ton of guys and we're going to OT. Just shows how much better the Ducks are right now.

Yah, Anaheim basically iced four lines of 3rd/4th liners and a Rakell.

Meh, they win on a PP in OT.

Gibson looks improved, not as frantic, movements are concise and he seems to be in good positioning. Movements seem to be easier on the groin. A few games ago I heard he consulted a professional and preserving his groin muscles, really good to hear.

Perry looks solid, his shots seem to not be as weak. Some good passes, I think he’s moving as well as Perry usually does.

The Ducks announced today they have made the following roster moves:

Assigned to San Diego (AHL):
Giovanni Fiore - Left wing
Kalle Kossila - Center
Jacob Larsson - Defenseman
Scott Sabourin - Right wing

Anaheim now has 27 players remaining on its 2017 Training Camp Roster - 15 forwards, nine defensemen and three goaltenders.

Guess that means 25th Edition of Anaheim Ducks is now complete.

So Megna makes the team out of camp ahead of Larsson. Wouldn't have picked that ahead of training camp.

I assume Reto Berra will be on the way down shortly unless we have an injury to Gibby or Miller.

Honestly surprised Fiore and Sabourin didn’t make the team.

Same here.

Fiore was all over the place, don’t know what else you gotta do to make the Ducks out of training camp haha.

Sabourin looked like a solid depth guy with the grit you want against LA and the bunch

Ducks need wheels and hands, Fiore has 'em. Sabby just seemed like a good grit fit on the fourth line who wouldn't be a liability. WTF, Bobbo?

Guess they want them to develop their game further in San Diego....Once Berra is sent down I am certain Ducks will be ready on Wed.

I’m pretty curious on this too. Grant didn’t have his name called all preseason and makes the team over Fiore and Sabby.

Megna was the only person who seems to make the team without a semi guarantee.

Also a tad surprised Jones or Steel didn’t get a few NHL games before being sent back. Maybe with injuries beginning of the season might be too important to play around with rosters.
