Looks like Tyler Soy is on our Rookie Camp roster, but also read an article where he is on the Panthers and Canucks rookie roster too.

Looking Good...roster looks like Best of the Ducks Youth....Tyler Soy I am surprise he is on this Young Ducks Roster.

As far as I know, a player has two years two sign with their drafted team or finnish out their time with NCAA. After two years, they can re-enter the draft or become a UFA.

Soy wasn't given an ELC from the Ducks. It's two years later, he's 21 ineligible to re-enter the draft. Not a college player. Capfriendly lists him as "prospect with no contract."

That's my limited understanding of the situation, and I honestly could be wrong on a point or two. But being available for multiple teams camps seems like a screw up somewhere.

Because he wasn't selected at the draft this year, he is now a UFA.

Soy said McCabe and the Panthers reached out before last week’s draft, and said they would invite him to camp if he went undrafted. (“If things don’t go good and I don’t get picked, they’d be happy to invite me to camp,” Soy said.)

Soy was also on Vancouver’s development camp roster, which was released Friday afternoon. The Canucks’ camp runs from Monday to Thursday.
